Your Simple Framework for Blog Posts

Your Simple Framework for Blog Posts That Bring in Business ๐Ÿ“

Hey Reader,

I'm back with that blogging framework I promised you last week. And listen... we're keeping this simple because I know you've got a business to run!

You might have thought I forgot about my promise from last week...

NOPE! I did not.

So much is happening in the studio (I'll share at the end - so keep reading), and I wanted to check and double check to make sure I covered everything before I hit send. So here goes:

Here's the quick version if you're pressed for time:

  • Start with your client's questions
  • Choose one main topic per post
  • Follow the P.E.A.S. framework (Problem, Example, Action Steps, Success Story)
  • Include a clear next step for readers

Still here? Let me break this down for you...

The thing about blog posts that actually bring in business is that they're not just random thoughts โ€“ they're strategic content that serves your audience while growing your business.

Think of your blog post as a good conversation with a client. You wouldn't jump straight into selling, right? You'd:

  1. Listen to their problem
  2. Share your understanding
  3. Offer helpful solutions
  4. Show them how you can help

Here's what's actually happening when you use this framework:

The P.E.A.S. Framework Breakdown

Problem:

  • Start with a problem your ideal client is facing
  • Use their exact words (you know, the ones they use in DMs and discovery calls)
  • Show them you understand their frustration

Example:

  • Share a real situation where this problem showed up
  • Could be your own experience or a client's story (with permission!)
  • Make it relatable and specific

Action Steps:

  • Give them 3-5 concrete steps they can take right now
  • Include enough detail that they can actually implement
  • Be generous with your knowledge (trust me, they'll still need your help!)

Success Story:

  • Show what's possible when these steps are implemented
  • Share results (with real numbers if you have them)
  • Paint a picture of their desired outcome

Here's why this matters... When you follow this framework, you're not just creating content โ€“ you're building a resource library that:

  • Attracts your ideal clients through search
  • Answers their questions before they even ask
  • Positions you as the expert you are
  • Creates trust through valuable free content

Let me tell you a secret ๐Ÿคซ: This same framework works for social media posts, YouTube videos, and even podcast episodes. It's all about serving first and selling second.

Ready to put this into action? You got options:

  1. Start Simple: Write down the top 5 questions your clients always ask. There's your first 5 blog post topics!
  2. Go Deeper: Look at your Google Analytics or Search Console (if you have it set up) to see what people are already searching for on your site.
  3. Get Help: If you're thinking "This sounds great, but who has the time?" โ€“ that's literally what we do! Hit reply, and let's talk about getting your blog up and running.

Remember: You don't have to be Shakespeare to write helpful. Just be you, be helpful, and be consistent.

Now for what's been happening in the Studio - we recently soft launched our new website with our updated services and are super excited to share. Check it out, hit reply, and let me know what you think! ๐Ÿค—

Keep growing,

P.S. Want to make sure you never lose a blog post? Set up those automatic backups! (You knew that was coming, right? ๐Ÿ˜‰)

Hey Reader, There seems to be a lot of acquisitions, mergers, and buyouts in the tech space, especially in the last few years. A couple of weeks ago, I got an email from Loom letting me know they were being absorbed into their parent company's platform. Then... a few days later, another email landed in my inbox, and yep, it was a price increase notification. There's a lot of that going on too... Now, I've been using Loom for over five years. And for me, it's comfortable. It's familiar. But...

Hey Reader! I hope this email finds you soaking up the last little bit of summer. As it is winding down for me and getting really real that it's pretty much over since my kid started school back today, I am shifting out of summer mode. ๐Ÿ˜ข As I sat down to write this week's email, I thought about how I see people online all the time saying they wish they had more business friends. People they could ask questions, bounce ideas off of, or send a quick โ€œOkay, but how do I actually do this?โ€...

Hey Hey Reader ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿฝ, This week I found myself doing something I tell my clients to do all the time but had not revisited in a while for my own business. I was updating my Google Business Profile (or GBP). I serve clients all over the US, and I love that. But I have been making a more intentional effort lately to show up for potential clients right here in my local area. The ones who are searching for someone nearby, someone they can feel connected to, even if we never meet in person. And...
