These email myths are costing you leads

Hey Reader,

Over the last few weeks, we've talked about what email marketing actually is, how it's different from your email service provider, and even how to choose the right platforms for your business.

If you missed any of those, you can check them out here.

But before I hang up my hat on this email conversation... there's one more thing I need to cover.

Because none of that other stuff matters if you're still letting these myths talk you out of actually doing it.

Here's an overview of what's covered:

  • Using regular Gmail for business is hurting your credibility more than you realize
  • Email marketing is actually MORE important for small businesses than big ones
  • You don't need thousands of subscribers for email marketing to be worth it
  • Social media has NOT replaced email, and building on rented land is risky
  • Most of the shared myths aren't about facts...They're about fear.

Let's dive into it...

I am sharing six of the most common email marketing myths I hear from small business owners, and more importantly, what to do instead.

Because the businesses that grow are the ones that invest in proper systems, even when it feels uncomfortable.

They choose strategy over shortcuts.

They build infrastructure that supports growth instead of duct-taping solutions together that end up breaking under pressure.

Email marketing feels scary because it's unfamiliar. But staying small because you're scared is even scarier.

Hey Reader, Can we continue our talk about email platforms for another minute? Because I know choosing one feels like you're making some huge, permanent decision that you'll regret forever if you get it wrong. And listen... I get it. There are literally DOZENS of options out there, they all seem to do the same thing, and somehow they all have wildly different pricing structures that make zero sense. So you end up frozen. Not choosing anything. Or worse... choosing based on which one your...

Hey Reader, Did you know that trying to use Google Workspace (or Outlook, or Apple Mail) to send your marketing emails could literally get your entire email system suspended? Like... ALL of your emails. No client communication. No project updates. Nothing. I know. It sounds dramatic. But it happens more than you think, and it's usually because someone didn't realize that their email provider and their email marketing service are two completely different tools built to do two completely...

The content creation framework that transforms blog posts into leads

Hey Reader, Welcome back to Tips Tuesday. This week, we’re wrapping up our content series by talking about something I see all the time with service providers: You’re creating content that informs, but it doesn’t convert. People read your post, think “that was helpful” and move on. No calls booked. No inquiries. No next step. The issue usually isn’t your expertise. It’s the structure... Most business blog posts don’t convert because they: Explain ideas without solving a clear problem Lack...
